Karen Hatcher to Continue Championing Equitable Housing Policy and Regional Collaboration in Metro Atlanta

Sovereign Realty and Management is pleased to announce that Karen Hatcher CPM®, CEO and Head Broker, has been reelected to the HouseATL Advisory Board. In this role, Mrs. Hatcher will continue working alongside a select group of engaged regional leaders who bring diverse expertise to advancing equitable housing solutions for metro Atlanta.

HouseATL occupies a unique position in the region, uniting partners across sectors to address housing affordability, influence policy, and accelerate innovative collaboration. The coalition’s mission is straightforward yet ambitious: ensure that individuals and families at every income level have meaningful options for safe, stable housing and a dignified quality of life for generations to come.

Mrs. Hatcher’s continued service on the Advisory Board underscores her longstanding commitment to practical, people-first real estate leadership. Through her work at Sovereign, the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, and with House ATL, she has championed initiatives that expand opportunities and foster inclusive growth throughout the region.

HouseATL’s 2026 Advisory Board brings together new and returning directors, including David Allman, Dr. Christie Cade (Ex-Officio), Rachel Carey, Julio Carrillo, Mandy Eidson, Dr. Alan Ferguson (Co‑Chair), Frank Fernandez, Jennifer Freeman, Rita Gibson, Karen Hatcher, Dr. Bambie Hayes‑Brown, Will Johnston, Keitt King (Co‑Chair), Sarah Kirsch, Terri Lee (Immediate Past Co‑Chair), Michael Lucas, Odetta MacLeish‑White, Rohit Malhotra, Tia McCoy, Dr. Sara Patenaude, Richelle Patton, Richard S.
