This comprehensive guide brings together the expertise of builders, nonprofits, and community leaders to tackle Metro Atlanta’s housing challenges with innovative, collaborative solutions.
This toolkit is more than a resource—it’s a blueprint for how the future of housing in Atlanta can be shaped through intentional partnerships and creative models. We’re especially excited to see Model 3—Homebuilder-Initiated Mixed-Income Development—spotlighted as a practical and scalable approach to bridging the affordability gap.
Why This Matters
At Sovereign, we’ve seen firsthand how collaboration between builders and nonprofits unlocks lasting, inclusive homeownership. Model 3 demonstrates how for-profit builders can take a leadership role by integrating affordable homes into mixed-income developments, leveraging public incentives, and partnering with nonprofits to deliver homes to families who need them most.
